Turning feedback into comfort

Birkerød Skole is one of nearly 20 buildings monitored in Rudersdal Kommune. Classrooms and common areas use smart thermostats controlled directly through the Climify platform, adjusting room by room based on real needs. Students and teachers share quick feedback through our FeedMe app, giving the system the human insight needed to fine-tune comfort.

The school is part of the HuiL-DEMand project, funded by EUDP through the Danish Energy Agency. Together with DTU and project partners, we test new evaluation and control algorithms and demonstrate how thermal feedback can guide smarter building operation. The result: a school that responds better to the people inside, every day.

Insights from HuiL-DEMand have helped refine Climify Action — especially how it balances comfort and energy use using both data and human input.
